Here at Adelaide Inn we are very much into our community. We love our neighbors, support the work done for the children of Paso Robles and we love sharing in the holiday spirit!
Besides going all out in decorations for the season, we wanted to share the Vine Street Victorian Christmas Showcase that happens in downtown Paso Robles along Vine Street.
Coming together on Saturday, December 13, 2014, the festivities start at 6:00 pm and end around 9:00 pm. All along Vine Street you will see fantastic lights, decorations and warm open arms of the homeowners and community volunteers that help out!
This year you can expect celebrity guests such as Ebenezer Scrooge, the Snow Queen, Mr. and Mrs. Clause and a variety of characters! Family friendly as usual they do not permit dogs for safety reasons, but the kids and “big kids” alike will have a great time!
Along with community caroling there are illuminated floats, several groups of entertainers, community open houses, complimentary treats such as cotton candy and cookies, live music, hot cocoa and much more.
The streets are packed with guests but everyone is smiling and the crisp, cool air that greets Paso Robles when the sun goes down will make you feel alive and ready for some warm goodies.
For 13 blocks the lights of Vine Street twinkle between 8th and 21st Street. If you are visiting friends and family or just checking in for the weekend, this cherished event will make you feel right at home.
Before you go out and about make sure to visit one of our amazing restaurants in the area and have some local farm fresh dinner! There are several places to choose from both at wineries out in wine country, downtown and in the surrounding area.
A few we suggest for the best in ingredients, wine and service are Il Cortile, Thomas Hill Organics, Artisan, Basil Thai, Bistro Laurent, Buena Tavola, Villa Creek, La Coscheta, Second Press, Panolivo Bistro and McClintock’s Steak House.
All downtown, these restaurants are walking distance to Vine Street so after a fantastic meal you can walk over to the lights and grab a cookie and some new friends.
