There’s nothing quite like summertime on the Central Coast, when long, hot days gradually turn into mild, pleasant evenings just begging for us all to be outdoors. One of our favorite ways to enjoy the season is by attending al fresco summer concerts in Paso Robles. From ‘Paso Pops’ on the 4th of July in Paso Robles to shows at Vina Robles Amphitheatre, don’t miss this fun line-up of outdoor summer concerts.
The Paderewski Festival-sponsored Paso Pops concert returns to Paso Robles on our nation’s Independence Day for a patriotic celebration that combines live music, wine, beer, food, and family fun! Held at the Paso Robles Event Center – within walking distance of the Adelaide Inn – the event kicks off at 4:00pm with carnival rides, food trucks, and libations from Cass Winery and Firestone Walker Brewing Company. Expect things to liven up at 8:00pm when the San Luis Obispo Symphony headlines the event, followed by more music well into the evening and fireworks! It all adds up to a memorable way to spend the 4th of July in Paso Robles.
The California Mid-State Fair, known as “America’s Favorite Fair,” returns to Paso Robles July 18-29. While the Mid-State Fair has plenty of activities fit for the whole family, one of the main draws is the impressive line-up of musical performances, including some of the biggest names in show business. On July 20, don’t miss the 3rd annual Evening of Rhythm & Brews featuring Dwight Yoakam, accompanied by a special selection of Central Coast craft beers not normally available during the fair. The fun continues with performances by mega pop star Demi Lovato, country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and rock legend ZZ Top, among others.
No need to wait until the weekend to enjoy concerts at the popular Vina Robles Amphitheatre, one of the most picturesque places for summer concerts in Paso Robles. On Wednesday, July 11, the acclaimed a cappella group, Straight No Chaser, will perform an unforgettable show that combines extraordinary music with a dash of humor. Then, on Tuesday, July 17, the popular kids’ musical brand, KIDZ BOP, takes the stage to perform today’s biggest hits for the kids, guaranteed to get the whole family up and dancing. On Wednesday, August 1, singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will perform with his full band for what is sure to be unforgettable evening under the stars.
With plenty of opportunities to enjoy summer concerts in Paso Robles, now’s a great time to plan your summer vacation to the Central Coast and the Adelaide Inn, conveniently located in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country, makes for the perfect home base while visiting.
